Product Marketing Manager, Community Growth

We're looking for an experienced contractor to join the Community Growth Product Marketing team. The Community Growth team builds products to help all people on the internet connect to the Facebook community, including photo safety tools for women in emerging markets and creating a great experience for constrained devices and networks. The Community Growth marketing team is responsible for all elements of marketing in key markets and globally. This includes crafting product narratives, being a strategic consultant to product and other cross-functional teams, informing product strategy and messaging with insights, and driving go-to-market planning and execution.   • Apply quantitative and qualitative insights to inform marketing plans and execution
  • Plan and manage successful marketing campaigns and programs across multiple channels, including Facebook ads and events, to raise awareness of Community Growth products
  • Support marketing efforts through activities such as asset creation (still, animated, and/or video), competitive analysis, and product launch planning (messaging and asset development)
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams (including product, internal creative studio, external creative agencies, PR, partnerships, media planning, and analytics stakeholders)
  • Manage multiple stakeholder approvals, including legal, privacy, comms, and policy
  • Be willing and able to flex between strategic and tactical/execution responsibilities
  • Self-starter with proven ability to independently and quickly get up to speed on complex and sensitive products with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with end-to-end, multi-channel marketing campaigns and programs, including Facebook ads, leading strategy, creative development, media planning, experiment/measurement design, and post-campaign analysis and reporting
  • Experience quarterbacking go-to-market planning and execution for sensitive product launches
  • Global marketing experience, including managing product launches and marketing campaigns across several markets
  • Strong writing skills to draft content for marketing assets and develop clear, inspirational creative briefs
  • Experience synthesizing a large amount of information and translating complex topics into simple and intuitive communications
  • Strong at project management and execution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
  • High energy, team player and skilled at building relationships across cross-functional teams, including experience working with Product Management

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, brand management, and/or direct response marketing
  • Global marketing experience with demonstrated appreciation and understanding for local nuances
  • Experience thriving in an unstructured, dynamic, and fast-paced environment
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset

  • Experience marketing new products and defining the category
