UX Researcher II

For this position, we are looking for a researcher who has extensive experience with usability, enjoys working in a fast pace environment, has excellent communication skills, understands how to identify new opportunities for product innovations, and is passionate about advocating for end users. This position is based in Menlo Park, California.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product teams to identify research topics
  • Design studies that address both user behaviors and attitudes
  • Generate insights that both fuel ideation and evaluate designs
  • Conduct frequent usability and concept testing
  • Work cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering and marketing
  • Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways
  • Passionate about Facebook and able to speak to our technology/industry
  • Patient, communicative, team player that is detail oriented and has outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Experience partnering with design, product and engineering partners
  • Extensive experience conducting usability tests
  • Comfortable designing and executing research plans independently to meet objectives of the team
  • Experience with Business to Business or Advertising research

BA/BS degree in a human behavior related field (HCI, Psychology, Social Science, Information Science, etc.) Master's degree preferred.
