Sales Operations Analyst - Deal Desk

  • Evaluate and guide deal proposals and drive efficient processes for teams to negotiate successful joint business plans, upfront agreements and sponsorship/event partnership agreements
  • Support deal execution by providing analytical support and developing processes to track deal progress in partnership
  • Lead analysis and reporting on deal flow
  • Work closely with sales and other cross functional teams to get work done, driving recommendations through to implementation
  • Provide business analytics (including market/industry/competitive trends) to help drive initiatives critical to growth and support decision making
  • Design, roll out and manage tools to track deal performance and best practices
  • 4+ years work experience in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g. finance, business analytics, consulting, banking, business operations)
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability with experience providing practical business insights from large, complex data sets
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to present technical content to general audiences
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including advanced PowerPoint/presentation ability
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in deal management, negotiations and structuring agreements a plus
  • Experience in data visualizations and building scalable reporting tools also preferred but not required
  • Experience in media/technology is highly desirable but not required
  • BA/BS required from a top institution, ideally in business-related subject (e.g., Finance, Economics) or analytical field; MBA preferred
