Packaging Technical Program Manager

Duties


The Packaging and Accessories TPM will manage the packaging process and small scale accessories for our next generation VR products. 

  • Plan out schedule and resourcing for projects by leveraging XFN feedback
  • Manage product development effort from Concept into Production.
  • Manage weekly status and issue tracking through weekly team meetings and reporting status at key leadership reviews
  • Manage relationship with Contract Manufacturers (likely based on Asia) with potential for travel to Asia

Skills


  • Experience with managing packaging efforts including dieline development, artwork, pallet configuration, label, and logistics integration. 
  • Experience with managing cross functional teams to develop small scale products like cases, cables, or wall chargers by leveraging JDM partners
  • Strong in technical skills to be able to help manage packaging issue identification and resolution with the cross functional team
  • Strong and concise communicator
  • Cross functional leadership - can work with and represent disciplines within and outside of your area of expertise
  • Schedule generation and management - Can use Excel and Gant (MS Project or Omniplan) for managing schedules

Top 3 non-negotiable must haves on resumes:

 

1. End to end package development knowledge. 2. Experience with bringing consumer electronic accessories to market. 3. Proven PM skills
