Facebook brings people closer together around the events and topics that matter most to them. The Data Communications team mission is to provide and assess meaningful research that highlights the many ways in which people connect with one another and use our platforms. Whether it's gathering insights about the communities being built around popular videos, how people engage in their favorite Facebook Groups, or the latest trends in Instagram Stories, we partner with teams across the entire company and family of apps to support critical public narratives.
In this role, you will collect data from different categories and summarize the data into standard formats and provide ad hoc reporting on an ongoing basis. The job requires you to work with Communicatios, Partnerships, and Crowdtangle teams to create infographics, build newsletter, secure the right taxonomy and ensure these lists are accurate to be used for building data trackers. You will also manage requests from local partnered press agencies in different priority markets and help them manually review some of the highlighted results that will be featured in external stories during major consumer based events (eg. Summer Olympics).
The ideal candidate has strong analytics and communications instincts — someone who can both conduct and understand complex data sets but also knows how to best present insights to various audiences.
