Engineering Project Coordinator IV

The Engineering Project Coordinator/Specialist will help coordinate and administer all engineering project activities, targeting a successful execution of the project. Responsibilities include coordination and tracking of activities and ordering/tracking components to ensure that the needs of the TPM and engineering teams are met through the complete project cycle.  

  • Communicate project status to vendor regarding PO/invoice, material requirement, and delivery schedule
  • Work with Operations, TPM/Eng teams to define and collaborate on internal & external SoW, SOP, RFI & RFQ
  • Coordinate small batch local hardware builds: both SMT and FATP / box build, development boards
  • Manage allocation requests and distribution
  • Create Purchase Requisitions (PR), maintain invoice tracking and Goods Receipts
  • Create and lead Bill of Materials (BOM), component part numbers, and release related user documentation
  • Collaborate with the Agile PDM team to create and process Engineering Change Orders, Manufacturer Change Orders and Deviations
  • Work closely with engineers to maintain comprehensive EE, Mechanical & System BOM release for builds
  • Support coordination of OK2TOOL & OK2FAB sign-off process
  • Help set up tools and processes for the project team. (Agile, Jira / Task tools, Wiki pages)

What are the top non-negotiable skill sets required to be successful in the role?

  • Ability to be proactive, self driven, and ability to work with fully remote teams.  Must be excellent at multitasking and working with internal customers in a support capacity. Experience with consumer electronics is preferred.

Given current office closures, will this position be open for remote work only?

  • It will be remote work mandatory until Q1 2021, and optional until July 2021. 

Can the contract be extended beyond the 6 months, based on performance, and needs of the business?

Bachelor’s degree desired (but not required)
