Facebook is looking for an Associate Audio Producer to join our Interaction Sound Design team. You will support the team responsible for creating and maintaining the sonic voices for Facebook products across several platforms and surfaces. The role combines an understanding of sound design, operations and systems management, audio pipeline production workflows, and project management leadership. Candidates must have the ability to collaborate closely with multiple team members, drive multiple projects, and effectively execute in a fast-paced environment.
Monitor, track, and support multiple projects and initiatives, both internally and cross-functionally.
Communicate and collaborate with teams and individuals across a variety of disciplines.
Track team efficiencies and capacity.
Capture and catalog performance metrics.
Create and maintain team-facing sound design, process, and pipeline management documentation.
Create dashboards to highlight performance, scheduling, and program progress.
Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment.
2+ years of professional experience in creative production in software development, emphasis on audio
Proficiency in Mac OS, including office tools such as Excel and Word.
Knowledgeable in Windows, iOS, and Android operating systems
Familiarity with Digital Audio Workstations (Pro Tools preferred)
Understanding of project management workflows
Experience working in a task system, such as Jira, Devtrack, Mantis, etc.
Experience creating technical and non-technical documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience/Training in Agile development methods
Experience with CMS tools (GIT, Perforce, Mercurial, SVN,etc.)
Experience building dashboards visual aids using Java
