Content Strategist II

  • Delivers high-quality, error-free work on deadline, and contributes to helping other team members create high-quality work.
  • Works on projects that are broad in nature, usually requiring discretion and creativity.
  • Is responsible for high-level content and UX/flow decisions within their projects and can articulate and persuasively defend those decisions.
  • Having a strong command of voice, tone, style and grammar.
  • Learning the Facebook Content Standards, applying them consistently or being able to offer clear rationale for breaking them.
  • Being able to write crisp, clear, consistent, jargon- and error-free content that shows care for the people who use our products.
  • Creating audience-appropriate content that shows empathy for people with different needs.
  • Making sure that the product that launches includes final content so little details don’t get lost during implementation.
  • Attending to the stress-case experiences (error states, less-commonly used features or flows or experiences of audiences who diverge from the primary audience), which may represent our biggest chances to show care.
  • Understanding the unique content constraints of specific platforms (ex: length limits and native patterns for iOS, Android, www, typical phones and so on) and producing content that elegantly works around those limitations.
  • Consistently participating in Flash to give and receive thoughtful feedback on work.
