Product Marketing Communications (9020826)

Work with the product content strategy and internationalization teams to write, research and manage terminology processing using a terminology database tool (Acrolinx). In this role you will: 

  • Input terms (data processing) 
  • Process and complete term entries according to a schedule and service level agreement
  • Create and distribute reporting on term status
  • Research and write term entries
  • Collaborate and communicate proactively across many teams in different locations to determine meanings and usage of terms
  • Manage and resolve tasks/issues related to incomplete term entries or other term management issues
  • Learn and apply Acrolinx functions related to checking quality in source documents, term harvesting (scanning documents for potential terms) and other functions 
  • Drive quality audits and updates of term sets and report on results 
  • Excellent writing skills and exacting attention to sentence-level detail 
  • Ideally a background in terminology linguistics, taxonomy, glossaries, or other work around content structure and definition writing 
  • Experience working with content tools or content management systems
  • Experience writing content for consumer technology (technical or user experience writing) 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent collaborator, independent worker, proactive communicator
  • Experience with reporting and/or task tracking
  • BA in communications, literature, writing, journalism or a related discipline
  • Ideally, coursework or a further degree in library science, taxonomy, linguistics
