Design Program Manager (8135979)
Menlo Park, CA
Support and execute special programs that build culture and drive our strategy forward. These may include team offsites, team onsites, and social events
Build impactful relationships across the full design team in Seattle
Serve as a dependable point of contact/link to DPMs and cross-functional teams in Menlo Park
Help raise the profile of product design internally and externally by working closely with Product Design managers and program owners to implement impactful events, speakers, education or activities
Proactively raise and resolve issues around our initiatives before they are a problem for individuals
Support product leads with effective team communication, proactive problem solving, information distribution
Measure impact of programs and initiatives both qualitatively and quantitatively
Track and move initiatives forward working with multiple stakeholders
Facilitate meetings such as preparing impactful agendas, establishing next steps and owners
Minimum ~7yrs in project/program management
Experience working with designers and passion around creating strong design communities
7+ years of experience as a producer, project manager or program manager with a background establishing programs, supporting teams, and developing relationships
Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
Successful in fast-paced environment that requires independent time management, task prioritization, flexibility, and keen ability to identify problems and proactively work towards solutions
Committed and motivated to building a deep subject matter knowledge about design, what motivates designers and what makes them successful
