Site Coordinator

The Site Coordinator Support will work very closely with the Data Center Site Coordinator, Site Manager and the Facilities Manager to ensure all facets of the day-to-day operational needs are met. This is a contingent worker, temporary role based at Facebook's Data Center in Prineville, Or.

 

ANY OF THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES MAY APPLY:

  • Site Coordinator and Site Manager Support:
    • Communicate and escalate any issues related to the support functions mentioned here
    • Support site specific special projects and MPK (Menlo Park) developed projects
    • Support and coordinate site tours and visits where applicable
    • Support site development with the Data Center Site Coordinator, Site Manager and team
    • Other duties as required by the Site Coordinator
  • Activities & Events:
    • Responsible for all employee events (on and/or offsite)
    • Work directly with the Global Events team on corporate planned events
    • Support and schedule onsite professional training classes
    • Support the Site Coordinator and Community Development Team with community events and media appearances, as needed
  • Budgeting:
    • Track local event budget and projects
    • Track and support satisfaction budget
    • Track/Action Open (Blanket) PO’s in conjunction with our Supply Chain Operations (SCO) Team
  • Procurement:
    • Work directly with corporate Procurement Operations to on board and order from various vendors used at the Data Center
    • Reconcile charges from various expense accounts
  • Vendor Management:
    • Assist in management of the culinary and micro kitchen teams
    • Assist in management, as needed, of various other contractors (for example: cleaning team, laundry, landscaping and snow removal, etc.)
    • Identify with SCO and track non-critical vendor KPIs
  • Site Support:
    • Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the data center
    • Support set-up, moves, and configuration changes & providing miscellaneous supplies as needed
    • Maintain onsite contact lists

 

  • 3+ years of project manager/office manager experience
  • Event planning experience
  • Budget management experience
  • Planning, organizing and time management experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Communication and interpersonal experience
  • Experience in team building
  • Experience handling confidential information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of business and management principles
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • High-level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-starter and adaptable to a dynamic environment
