Senior Systems Designer
Menlo Park, CA

Review incoming requests delivered by product teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of guidelines as well as high quality user experiences that comply with the standards and design guidance.
Support the efforst of all Facebook app-wide initiatives.
Work lcosely with the designers to communicate feedback and provide guidance and strategies in improving output.
Document and monitor daily requests to ensure that the individual work quota is met.
Manage work streams in an organized way that guarantees on time delivery and a clear workflow.
Ensure our products and features are valuable for people, easy to use, and of the highest level of craft and execution.
Collaborate with teams across the org to drive design alignment all the way through building and iterating.
Be a strong voice to ensure we design and ship products that improve the user's experience on our platform.
Effectively communicate request status and design rationale to your product team, the design team, and stakeholders.
Proactively solicit feedback from other designers and XFN partners to improve the quality of your design.
Participate in daily product meetings.
When appropriate, identify new patterns and contribute to the News Feed Design Guidelines.
5+ years experience delivering digital experiences that delight users.
Strong commitment to design craft and exdcution as part of the development cycle.
Strong systems thinker with evidence of delivering robust and extensible design patterns.
Strong communication skills with hte ability to explain ideas to others clearly and diplomatically.
Strong organization skills.
A unique ability to identify areas that aren't pixel-perfect to design specs.
Obsessed with identifying visual inconsistancies.
A passion for influencing teams and driving hte highest quality of design standards.
Enjoys bringing clarity to chaos; Thrives in ambiguity and drives towards coherence.
Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex, sometimes abstract, concepts clearly and persuasively.
Demonstrates strategic product thinking and vision.
Experience in building and shippping application or software.
Demonstrated experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design.
Experience designing fro groups of people (international audiences, multi-language localization, accessibility for people with disabilities, etc.).
Proficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Sketch, Figma).
Experienced visual designer and systems thinker with tech experience (preferred).
Experience with front-end programming (preferred).
Must have URL or case studies featuring examples of interaction design work.
Bachelor's degree in graphic, visual, or web design or equivalent experience.
