Education Product Partnerships Manager (INTL)

Duties

Identify and develop initiatives to introduce FB products, such as Workplace and Messenger Platform, to key stakeholders in the education field in India.

Represent and convey the value proposition of our products, such as Workplace, to audiences ranging from government officials to senior executives to technical stakeholders.

Build partner adoption of our products and drive engagement and growth while proactively addressing any partner issues.

Develop trusted relationships with partners and drive tangible value to the education sector.

Gather partner product feedback to shape product roadmap development.

Adapt quickly to product changes and limitations, and communicate these strategically to stakeholders.

Assess, document, and analyze partner progress toward mutually stated goals; engage regularly with partners via strategic and operational reviews to evaluate their needs and iterate as needed.

Innovate with partners using new technologies (e.g., bots) to deliver real world outcomes.

Leverage learnings, research findings and best practices to create frameworks and scaled solutions for our partners.

Work cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders, including partnerships, policy, legal, marketing, PR and regional teams, to launch, maintain or grow the use of Facebook's suite of products for educational use cases.

Serve as a contributing member to the Education product partnerships team, including providing feedback and strategic guidance; and supporting team members and their scope of work when needed. 

Skills

BA/BS degree required

5+ years of business development, Account Management or Project Management experience in India

Passion for the education sector and deep understanding of the systemic challenges facing educators and learners in India

Excellent written and oral communications skills

Excellent project management skills with the ability to design, implement and direct multiple projects from ideation to execution while meeting deadlines and ensuring accountability

A strategic thinker who is comfortable in a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous start-up like environment

Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external constituencies including senior level executives, legal, technical, finance, sales and marketing experts

Ability to explain technical solutions, establish goals, develop opportunities, and provide reporting/dashboards to identify trends and improve the customer experience

Ability to lead cross function business and technical teams to provide to achieve measurable impact

Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%
